🎵 The 2026 Findhorn Ukulele Festival Programme

All events take place in the Universal Hall unless otherwise noted.

The Eco-Village will be buzzing this weekend, the strings are tuned, and the ukes are ready. Here’s your full guide to an unforgettable weekend of music, workshops, community, and late‑night fun.

🎉 Friday — Festival Kick‑Off

4:00pm – 6:00pm Registration — Lower Foyer, Universal Hall Pick up your wristbands, say hello, and ease into the festival vibe.

7:30pm – 8:45pm Festival Opening & First Strums Meet the team, warm up your fingers, and start the weekend with a shared strum.

9:30pm – 11:00pm Open Mic & Strumalong — Phoenix Café Hosted by Saz & Jo. Bring a song, bring a smile, or just soak up the atmosphere.

🎶 Saturday — Workshops, Music & A Silent Disco

10:00am – 11:00am Ukulele Saz Workshop: Concept to Concert (Part 1)

10:00am – 10:45am Jo’s Beginners+ Workshop — Dance Studio

11:30am – 12:30pm Andy’s Workshop: Stop Working So Hard!

12:30pm – 1:00pm Mix & Mingle

1:00pm – 2:30pm Lunch — Free Time

2:30pm – 3:30pm Peter Moss Workshop: Playing the Blues

2:30pm – 3:15pm Jo’s Beginners+ Workshop — Dance Studio

4:00pm – 5:00pm Open‑Air Mass Strum — Village Green Led by Saz & Jo. Sunshine optional, smiles guaranteed.

5:30pm – 6:00pm Mix & Mingle

6:00pm – 7:30pm Dinner — Free Time

7:30pm – 9:00pm Evening Concert Featuring Ukulele Saz, Peter Moss, and Andy Eastwood.

9:30pm – 11:00pm Silent Disco — Phoenix Café Grab your headphones and dance like nobody’s listening.

7:00pm – 9:30pm Charity Concert Featuring FFUG, Brittney, Alex, Saz, and a special “in tandem” performance from Peter Moss & Andy Eastwood.

When ukulele enthusiast Romany Buckwheat opened a brown paper parcel that came in the post, she wasn’t prepared for the contents. It was a 100-year-old, Hawaiian-made ukulele. Well, Peter is a man of impeccable style, so the idea of him stepping out in full Highland dress isn’t entirely far‑fetched. With enough gentle persuasion from the festival team and a bit of crowd enthusiasm, we might just tempt him into swapping his usual stage look for something a little more… Scottish. Watch this space! The Scottish kilt has a long and fascinating history. It began with early Celtic woven cloth and evolved into the great kilt of the 1500s — a huge, versatile wrap that worked as clothing, cloak and blanket for life in the Highlands.
